Good Friends, Good Times

This past Friday, it worked out to meet up with some of our Triplet Family Friends.  We have all really become close friends.  We were all connected due to the the "triplet" factor but once we started to hang out we realized that we all have so much in common and just really enjoy spending time together.  The kids all love each other too so it is a bonus for everyone.

We were invited out to go boating on a lake near our house.  The Clarks just got a new tube so the kids had a blast testing it out.  Of course the moms could not let the kids have all the fun so the three "Hot" triplet moms jumped on the tube as well.  Of course, I made sure to remind Daddy Dave that between the three of us we have 10 kids and to drive nice.  He laughed and then we were off.  It was fun and we laughed and laughed (or cackled) but I am sure that everyone in a 5 miles radius could hear us!

After the tubing we headed out to have dinner on the boat.  We let the anchor down and the kids and the moms had fun jumping off the boat and swimming around.

It was a beautiful night full of laughs and good memories.  We feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends in our life.

High Seas VBS

The kids just finished their week of VBS and the theme was High Seas!  They had a blast and again, it was a week filled with learning and sharing about God.

It is so great when the kids want to listen to their VBS music which is all about the Lord.  We spent the week with the Clark Triplets and the kids really enjoyed sharing time with the LTD connection.

My only disappointment is that I was not able to help volunteer this year.  I hope next year, life slows down and I can pull away from work to help volunteer with the kids and share in their week.

I am thrilled that we have done two weeks of VBS and the kids just love it.  They are already asking me when they get to go back.

Swimming at Uncle T's

One of the best things about this summer is that the kids have really taken to swimming.  All three of them are like little fish in the water.  It is awesome and one more sign that they are starting to transition from little kids to bigger kids!
Tonight we decided it would be the perfect night to swim at Uncle T's pool.  It was sunny and warm and we spent a good hour performing all of our great skills for Grandma and Grandpa Amiot to gave us a surprise visit.

We did chicken fights, cannon balls, dives, and just plain old swimming.  It was the perfect summer evening!  Thanks Uncle T for having us over at your pool.

Happy Birthday America 2010

This past weekend for the 4th of July, we were lucky enough to head up north to spend the holiday with Jon's family at their beautiful lake home.  We had lots of fun and the only thing that would have made it even better than it was is if Jon/Daddy could have been there with us.
Saturday we spent the day swimming and making sand castles and just hanging out.  Saturday night we helped Grandma and Grandpa Erickson make home made ice cream and then finished the night off with some Bingo.  We all managed to win a Bingo!
Sunday we went to the local parade and it was fun to see all the floats.  The kids collected SIX pounds of candy!  Yikes!
Sunday afternoon we took part in the boat parade that was hosted on the lake we were on.  Then after the parade, all the kids took turns tubing behind the boat.  It was KJ's 1st time and he LOVED it and cannot wait to do it again.
It was a fun weekend overall.  Big thanks to Aunt Lori and Uncle Chris for hosting us at the cabin.  We had a blast making memories with all of you!
